Floor Acrobatics

Floor Acrobatics is a core circus discipline, if you are new to acrobatics or are someone who strives to improve their floor tumbling techniques and has a passion for experimenting with new styles, tricks and forms of tumbling then this class is an excellent place to follow those ambitions. Floor tumbling is a great basis for many other circus disciplines like Adagio, Pitching, Trampoline, Hoop Diving, Acrobatic Skipping, Chinese Pole, Hip Hop, Break-dancing and more.

This class will teach a range of basic circus skills including tumbling, mini trampoline, stilt walking, unicycling, Rolla bola, hula hooping, juggling, diabolo, staff and plate spinning, poi twirling and basic aerial trapeze and tissu. Our expert trainers provide a safe and inclusive environment in which participants can express themselves. Participants not only build the strength, co-ordination and dedication necessary to advance to higher level circus performance, but also work with their peers towards a group performance at the end of the term.

  • What to Wear
    • Students should wear comfortable close-fitting clothing which gives full range of motion and is suitable for a workout.
